Terms of service
The terms on which Lynkarr provides Lynkarr.
Accounts
There are two kinds of account. A company account is identified by the domain of the email address used to open it: the first person to register from a domain administers that company's account and can invite colleagues on the same domain. A personal account is opened with an address at a public email provider, is free, and is for one person — nobody else can join it, and paid plans are not available on it. A personal account can be moved onto a company domain by confirming an email address at that domain, after which it is a company account and you sign in with that address.
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service to distribute malware, to conduct phishing, to impersonate others, to host unlawful material, or to direct scanners to any of those things. Because dynamic codes can be repointed after printing, redirecting a previously legitimate code to harmful content is treated as a serious breach and may result in immediate suspension.
Plans and limits
Each plan includes a stated number of users, codes and cards. If your account exceeds its limits — for example after moving to a smaller plan — existing codes keep working and keep collecting scans; only the creation of new items is paused until you are within the limit again.
Scanning is never interrupted. Exceeding a scan allowance produces a warning in your dashboard; it does not stop your printed codes from working.
Availability
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Scheduled maintenance and factors outside our control may cause interruptions.
Your content
You retain ownership of everything you upload. You grant us only the permission needed to host and display it as part of providing the service.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. Note that deleting your account will stop your printed QR codes from resolving.
Affiliate Program
An approved affiliate earns a percentage of what a referred customer pays, for as long as that customer remains a paying customer. The rate is set when your application is approved and stated to you at that time.
Payouts are issued monthly, on the last weekday of the month, for any balance accrued since the last payout. There is no minimum balance required.
Content promoting Lynkarr — a video, a post, a page, or anything else you plan to publish or upload as part of the program — must be approved by us before it is shared or uploaded anywhere. We make a strong effort not to restrict the thoughts and opinions of our affiliate creators; this approval step is about accuracy and brand use, not about controlling what you say.
Self-referral — referring yourself or an account you control — is not eligible for commission. We may terminate an affiliate relationship at our discretion, including for fraudulent or misleading promotion.
Contact
- Use the contact form — choose Privacy for a data request, anything about deletion, or a question about what is recorded when a code is scanned. You do not need an account, and you do not need to have signed up.
Every message is read by a person. A request about your own data is answered whether or not you are a customer — most people who need to ask are not.
